I create original etchings using a combination of drawing, photo-etching, engraving, aquatint, and watercolour painting. My process of intaglio printmaking is a very indirect and elusive technique and my images reflect the ethereal qualities of the wild and familiar landscapes that we all need in order to better know ourselves. My landscape based artwork focuses on both intimate views and wide-sweeping vistas. There is a sense of peace and solace in my images, of mystery and primal longings. My work is a celebration of our natural heritage.
